Most of last semester I talked about women’s fashion with a little bit of men’s fashion. This semester I’m going to try my best to have a good mixture of both. It always seems to me that men have it a lot easier to shop for clothes and to wear clothes than it is for girls. I mean pretty much all they have to do is throw on a t-shirt with jeans, and BAM, outfit done. Ladies, if only we had it this easy. You would think that because it takes men only a mere few minutes to get ready, they would put a little bit more effort into it. If girls have to try and look cute all the time why can’t guys?
To me, looking good isn’t always about the clothes, those just help. Looking good starts with you. If you feel yucky chances are you’re not going to look that great because body language just shows it. Confidence is your best accessory, it goes with anything. Guys, if you want to look good all the time with ease, just have that confidence and it’ll show through. Now, you can’t just go around wearing confidence, you do need a little help from clothes.
First, you have to figure out what type of clothes look best on you and what type of clothes you normally wear. Look at your closet, what does your style represent? Are you preppy, laid back, business, etc. Also find out what works for you, not every guy can pull off the cardigan and slacks look.
Once you’ve figured all that out, go shopping. Don’t buy a whole new wardrobe, but just a few pieces to help the rest of your clothes look better. If you have no idea what to look for or what to buy, your best chance is to take a girl with you.
