October is National Breast Cancer month. The University of Michigan-Dearborn has a few events this week to both raise awareness, as well as honoring those we have loved and lost due to breast cancer.

Today at 11:30AM, there is a fundraiser and luncheon for UM-D students, faculty, and staff to raise awareness about the dangers of breast cancer. The luncheon will be held in Fairlane Center South, dining room D and will go until 1:30PM.

This Thursday, October 11, The 6th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Ball will be held from 7-11PM in Kochoff Hall. This event focuses on awareness, advocacy and compassion towards both families and survivors.

Tickets are available for pre-sale purchase in the Office for Student Engagement, 2136 UC for $15. Tickets are $20 at the door.
