The University of Michigan-Dearborn’s Student Government organization will be hosting an informal discussion forum for the University of Michigan Regent Candidates on October 22 from 12-1 p.m. in Kochoff Hall C.

Mark Bernstein, attorney with the Sam Bernstein Family Law Firm, will be a speaker at the event.

According to Dennis Lienhardt, president of Student Government, the forum will focus on issues of the University of Michigan Ann Arbor, Dearborn, and Flint. Students will be able to see the visions that the candidates have for the campuses and ask questions.

“Regents serve to provide guidance and make decisions for our University and it is important that we take an active and informed role when deciding who should fill these positions,” Lienhardt said.
