Dearborn Firefighters wear pink in fight against breast cancer

Firefighters plan to donate T-shirt sales to "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Campaign."

Dearborn Firefighters are wearing pink t-shirts this October for Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Wearing the shirts has been part of the International Association of Firefighters Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign. Fire Chief Joseph Murray approved the shirts for for the firefighters for the last two weeks of October.

The firefighters hope to raise money and awareness for the cause, and plan on donating all the sales from the T-shirts will go to the “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Campaign,” sponsored by the American Cancer Society.
