This Halloween, consider picking up a cheap pumpkin for a good cause.

Beginning this past Saturday, the Firefighter Pumpkin Patch opened for residents to purchase any size pumpkin for $5. All proceeds from the pumpkins will go to the Dearborn Firefighters Burn Drive.

The pumpkin patch will continue to be open next Saturday, October 27, and Sunday, October 28 from noon-5 p.m. It is located at the Dearborn Fire Safety House, 19750 W. Outer Drive.

Visitors to the Firefighter Pumpkin Patch will also be able to enjoy face painting, fire trucks to climb on, and food and treats like hot dogs, cider, doughnuts, and cookies.
