On Saturday November 3rd, the Student Activities Board (SAB) is hosting a trip to Belle Isle. The trip only costs five dollars and with that you get to explore the Belle Isle Conservancy, the Aquarium, the Great Lakes Museum, and then end the trip off with going to the Belle Isle Zoo. Student’s planning on attending will be meeting at school around 10am and leaving around 10:30 by bus.
The Conservancy, which reopened in 2011, will be the first stop on the trip. Students will also be able to go to the aquarium at this time since the two buildings are connected.
Later on in the day, students will be able to see the Great Lakes Museum which shows Detroit’s role in maritime history national and regional. To end the trip off, everyone will take the buses to Belle Isle Nature zoo, which showcases the natural wildlife of Michigan.
