In a game where scoring was plenty, the Wolves defeated the Thunder 10-7. Midfielder Nick Thurber stole the show leading his team with four goals.

Midfielder Ruben Cabello had a solid game with two assists and midfielder Mason Amin had his best game this season adding one goal and two assist. Goaltender Sean Walsh didn’t play his best game, but he made seven saves on 14 shots backstopping the Wolves to victory.

The Wolves (2-3), will look to improve on their 2-1 record on the road when they face off against the Lawrence Tech Blue Devils (2-2), who are coming off a big home win defeating the Ferris State Bulldogs 12-3. The Wolves and Blue Devils will match-up Saturday, March 30th at Siena Heights University.

The University of Michigan-Dearborn Wolves are now tied for 1st in the division with the John Carroll University Blue Streaks (2-4), but the Blue Streaks have the edge because they’ve competed in two divisional match-ups and beat both the Lawrence Tech Blue Devils and the Northwood Timberwolves.

Last week the Wolves were supposed to take on UM-F in a scrimmage but the contest was cancelled. That game has yet to be rescheduled. Next week’s contest against Lawrence Tech will be the first game played against a division opponent in the CCLA DII North division.

The Wolves will take on Northwood on April 5, for their second divisional matchup and the Blue Streaks and Wolves will collide April 13, where John Carroll will play host at Wasmer Field in University Heights, Ohio.
