We’re halfway through the semester (can you believe it?) and a break is much needed right now.  Fright Night was a great place to be last Thursday if you were looking a good time and the perfect opportunity to show off your creativity.

Intervarsity Christian Fellowship put on their annual event in Kochoff Hall C and they created the perfect atmosphere with food, fun and dancing.

“It’s a good way to come out and have fun with midterms getting ready to come up,” said Chelsea Boufford, the Large Group Coordinator for Intervarsity Christian Fellowship.

Intervarsity has been putting on Fright Night for the past four years and is one of their popular events. “Fright Night gives people who haven’t heard of our group the chance to learn more about us,” said Boufford. “And also have a good time.” The hall was pitch black for a cool, eerie effect, but that didn’t stop people from showing off their costumes.

Students showed up with some pretty impressive costumes, from the Lego Man to Mario to plenty other creative creatures.  There were prizes given to the best male and female costume and a raffle for first time visitors.
