The University of Michigan-Dearborn volleyball team finished the last week of the season on the losing end, dropping a pair of games against Aquinas College and Lawrence Tech.

On senior night, the Wolverines took on the Aquinas College Saints (23-9) in their last home game of the season.

The Saints spoiled the Wolverines night, beating them in three straight sets, by scores of 16-25, 15-25, and 18-25.

The Saints were led by junior middle-hitter Molly Maynard, who had eleven kills. Junior outside-hitter MacKenzie Kolstad added nine kills on the day.

Senior defensive-specialist Brittany Yanos and senior middle-back Danielle Campbell led the Wolverines’ offensive attack. They both had seven kills.

The Wolverines finished their season off with a matchup against WHAC rival Lawrence Tech.

The Wolverines fought valiantly, but once against lost in three straight sets, by scores of 25-22, 25-21, and 26-24.

With the long season coming to an end, the Wolverines finished with a 10-33 overall record,and 1-10 in WHAC play.

But the Wolverines managed to make the postseason. On Wednesday evening, UM-Dearborn will once again face off with Aquinas in the opening round of the WHAC playoffs.
