Since 2012, Sahar Dika has been wandering around campus looking for the most stylist students at the University of Michigan-Dearborn as the Michigan Journal’s Arts and Entertainment editor. Some are student leaders on a budget. Others are freshman with a love for labels. Either way, she always finds the most fashion-forward students. However, despite writing weekly articles about fashion, interning at StyleLine Magazine, and having a closet that rivals anything Carrie Bradshaw could dream of, Sahar forgot the real fashionista of our campus: herself.

In honor of Sahar’s final Michigan Journal publication as Arts and Entertainment editor, it only seemed fair to feature her, as she is arguably the most stylish and innovative dresser our campus has ever Sahar is wearing light blue jeans from Zara, topped with a simple tank top from Forever 21. Around her neck is a Banana Republic black snit infinity scarf. She adds a flannel wrapped around her waist from American Eagle and brown Dolce Vita boots with buckles. Adding the finishing touch to her modern and polished grunge look is a Zara black leather jacket with silver hardware. On her wrist is a daily favorite, a rose gold Michael Kors watch.

Not pictured is possibly Sahar’s favorite accessory, a Louis Vuitton bag. Even when studying all day on campus, she can bring style to her look with a useful and fabulous purse. Sahar proves that you can combine inexpensive pieces with high-end labels and create a unique and progressive look.

Everyone on campus is going to miss her style, her smile, and sassy attitude. Everyone at the Michigan Journal is so proud of all she has accomplished and cannot wait to see her take Chicago by storm.
