After a long two semesters of cold and dreadful weather, hard work, and just looking forward to a good summer to prepare for the Fall to come, the students at the University of Michigan-Dearborn decided to push it a little further and consider taking spring/summer classes to get ahead, and prepare for the nearing future. The summer is always thought to be a way to relax, work a fun summer job, and get our priorities straightened out for later, but with the perseverance of the students at UM-Dearborn, they are undoubtedly knocking out their goals even in the summer down time.
“I am definitely taking spring classes to add more credits to what I have already. I didn’t take any spring and summer classes last year and I switched majors, so I’m kind of behind on credits,” said sophomore Ameed Nahhas.
“I kind of want to get ahead and get stuff out of the way so I’m not overwhelmed later,” said freshman Dash Fejza.
“I am taking both spring and summer. I wouldn’t have taken both but the classes I want run both ways through the spring and summer,” said freshman Malak Mackie. “I just want to get ahead so maybe I won’t have to be here for the full four years so I can get ahead in where I want to be.”
“I may be taking spring and summer classes depending on whether I get into my internship or not,” said junior Abeer Yassine.
