After attending the same school for four years, give or take a few years, it becomes a second home. A place where you hang out with friends, study for the most difficult of exams, and find your true calling whether it is in the medical field, or somewhere concerning screen studies or communications. This month, there will be a graduation ceremony for the class of 2014 of the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Another milestone has been crossed, but undoubtedly there will be a few things that they will miss about it all.
“The thing I will probably miss the most is the fact that I made friends with a lot of the professors here,” said graduate Ali Nasser.
“I spent the last four years stressing about my classes, cramming for countless hours in the library, and making unforgettable memories in the University Center. With this, I have to admit that graduating from UM-Dearborn is going to be one of the toughest things I’ve done thus far, but I know that I’m leaving with the most amazing undergraduate experience I could have ever imagined,” said graduate Heba Sobh.
“If I had to narrow it down to one thing, I would say the number one thing I’d miss is the student org life. Getting involved is probably the best decision someone could make and it’s also the best way to meet new people,” said graduate Ali Hachem.
“What I will miss is the close bonds I made with my teachers and colleagues. Seeing them almost everyday for the past four years will be something I’ll miss as I move on to the next chapter of my life,” said graduate Ali Chehouri.
