As the University of Michigan-Dearborn men’s soccer team advanced up the bottom of the WHAC standings, a shake up at the top also occurred.
Madonna leapt over Davenport with five conference wins and zero losses. With its two most recent wins over Concordia, they are now 10-3 overall. The Crusaders will face a tough test Oct. 15 at Northwestern Ohio, who is currently ranked nineteenth in the country.
Continuing its winning ways, the second best team in the country, Davenport, defeated Marygrove, 5-2, to earn its tenth win of the season. The Panthers’ conference record remained the same at 3-0 and their overall record is 10-1. The Panthers fierce attack is currently on a five-game win streak.
Its next game is versus Indiana Tech on Oct. 11.
Also at 3-0 in the WHAC is the University of Northwestern Ohio. The Racers defense has been in the spotlight recently as its two most recent wins have been shutouts. Its overall record is 7-2-1.
On Oct. 11 the team will host Cornerstone University in another WHAC matchup.
