The University of Michigan-Dearborn men and women cross-country teams ran in the Lansing Invitational on Oct. 3.

Rick Pickell ran the best time for the Wolverines, 28:03.6 for a 67th overall finish. Alex Krasuski ran a solid race for UM-Dearborn as well. He ran the 8k in 28:25.4. Krasuski finished 88th overall out of 197 runners. The men’s cross-country team finished 12 out of 20 teams.

For the women’s cross-country team, Julia Kassem led the way with 20:09.0 in the 8k.  She finished 27th overall. Catherine Miller performed well for the Wolverines too, as she ran 21:37.2. Miller finished 86th overall. The UM-Dearborn women’s cross country team finished 14th overall.

The next race for the cross country teams will be the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge on Oct. 25 in Grand Rapids, Mich.
