While spring feels too far away, fans can already start preparing for the 2015 Rock on the Range on May 15, 16, and 17.

Featuring a lineup that spans decades (as well as genres), the ninth year of the festival is pulling out all the stops to make this year’s ROTR a heavy hitting experience.

Linkin Park, Slipknot, and Judas Priest top the list of bands that will be heading to Columbus Crew Stadium in Ohio for a weekend of good ole rock n roll and so much more. A comedy tent will also be onsite to give fans a laugh in between the music.

Joining the 60+ lineup include Godsmack, Marilyn Manson, Breaking Benjamin, Rise Against, and Papa Roach. Yelawolf (most recently known for his hit “Till It’s Gone”) and Tech N9ne are also on the bill, adding a hip-hop flare to the rock festival.

This year’s bands include a mix of new acts combined with acts that took to the stage in previous years. The festival has been one for the books since its start in 2007, especially for the past two years, where the shows sold out in advance.

“It’s been way too long since Slipknot has played ROTR,” said Corey Taylor of Slipknot, adding, “it’ll feel good to headline again.”

Ben Burnley of Breaking Benjamin, who played the inaugural Rock on the Range nine years ago said, “We’re grateful to return to be a part of this amazing rock n roll event.”

2015 is also an important year for the event, as music television station AXS will be on hand to record the show and give fans that can’t make it a taste of the festival.

Tickets for the festival are still available through the festival’s website,
