UM-Dearborn men’s basketball signs 2015 Southfield forward Khary Fanning

University of Michigan-Dearborn men’s basketball coach Taylor Langley announced Thursday that the Wolverines signed 2015 Southfield forward Khary Fanning.

“Very excited to finally announce that @Kjf2 has signed with @UMICHDMBB! 1st of what should be a great class! #GoBlue,” Langley tweeted Thursday.

Fanning is 6-foot-4 and 190 pounds, according to scoutforceathlete.com. He averaged 15 points, six rebounds and three assists per game as a senior at Southfield High School.

Fanning participated in the Jordan XX9 dunk contest in Las Vegas, Nev. last summer. Below is a video from the competition; he is the first participant, according to Langley.
