2013 rushing stats with USC: 14 G, 40 attempts, 236 yds, 5.90 avg., 2 TD, 16.86 yds/G

Michigan fans will soon find out if the past 14 months of waiting to see Ty Isaac in a winged helmet was worth it.

Isaac was one of the top running back recruits in the class of 2013, but signed with USC over the runner-up Wolverines. He’ll compete with Green for Michigan’s top spot at running back.

I wrote about Isaac over at Maize n Brew in the spring and was impressed with the skills he brings. He’s one of the tallest players on Michigan’s roster but possesses a blend of speed and explosiveness. At USC, he excelled at finding and bursting through lanes the offensive line created for him.
