The Student Activities Board hosted a co-ed dodgeball tournament at 9 p.m. last Thursday, Feb. 11. The tournament had three courts set up in the Fieldhouse. The tournament hosted 16 teams with all Michigan- Dearborn students open to play. One of the three courts was set up for glow-in-the-dark play with the other two having limited lighting.

The entire event was held and ran by the Student Activities Board with many workers contributing. Each court was equipped with eight dodgeballs, two referees and six players on each side. Upwards of 100 students filled the Fieldhouse to compete in the tournament.

Evangela Daniels, a junior psychology major who is also the Sisterhood Development Chair for the Phi Sigma Sigma sorority, was one of the many competitors in the tournament.

“It was a great time,” Daniels said. “The event brought many people together and I hope we get to have these events more often.”
