The Office of Admissions and Orientation held their second Winter Orientation of the season on Thursday, Nov. 17 in the Fairlane Center South Building (FCS).

Winter orientation is set to welcome new incoming transfer students to the university and to help them get situated as well as register for classes.

The program starts off by checking in at the registration tables followed by a welcome preview presentation from 3-3:30 p.m. to get a better understanding of what the University of Michigan- Dearborn has to offer for them.

Then a community building presentation took place right after the welcome preview for 15 minutes to present a view on ways to build academic confidence in graduating in a timely manner.

It is then followed by an academic advising presentation from 3:45-4:15 p.m.

Each academic unit was then separated to register for their classes for the upcoming winter semester.

The academic units consisted of: the College of Arts, Sciences, and Letters, the College of Business, the College of Education, Health, and Human Services, the College of Engineering and Computer Science.
