From Chipotle worker to runway model, Vogue reports Remington Williams was working at the fast casual chain in Austin, Texas just 10 days before taking New York Fashion Week (NYFW) by surprise and walking for some of the biggest names including Calvin Klein and Marc Jacobs.

It was an average day at work washing dishes when a scout approached Williams offering an opportunity of a lifetime. That opportunity being traveling to New York and signing with one of the biggest modeling agencies, DNA Models.

After impressing casting directors, she found herself being trained to walk for Calvin Klein and just a couple days later she was being fitted for the Marc Jacobs show. Williams walked with some of the most star-studded models including Gigi Hadid. Williams tells Vogue she is trying to master the art of walking in stilettos. She has been wearing the heels to the grocery store near her apartment to get the hang of it. The new model jokes with Vogue and explains, “Models do not get enough credit for walking in those crazy shoes, they make it look so easy!”

NYFW may have come to an end, but Williams is not finished modeling. With plans to finish her degree in graphic design and also continue modeling, she will be hitting the European runways soon.
