The Wolverines traveled to Goshen, Ind. to take on the Goshen Maple Leafs. The Wolverines destroyed the Maple Leafs behind a career day by Sade Lemons (So/Sterling Heights, Michigan) hitting seven 3-pointers.

The Wolverines defeated the Maple Leafs 77-57.

Sade Lemons made her presence felt in this game with 23 points scored. Lemons also had seven rebounds, a steal, and an assist. Jeorgia Jones (SO/ Detroit, Michigan) would not be denied though, scoring 12 points of her own. Jones also had five rebounds, three assists, and a steal.

“Sade played very well, shot lights out, and got into a rhythm early,” Coach Jordan Sweeney said.

Natalie Spala (JR/ Livonia, Michigan) would come off the bench and make a huge addition with her 15 points. Spala also had two rebounds, a steal, and an assist. “Natalie was a bright spot coming off the bench” coach Sweeney told the Michigan Journal.

Emily Heinrich (JR/ South Lyon, Michigan) would also make her mark off the bench scoring eight points. Heinrich also had two rebounds and an assist.

The Wolverines would also travel to Lansing, Michigan to play the Great Lakes Christian College Lakers Saturday at 1 pm. The Wolverines destroyed the Lakers 69-51. The Wolverines improved to 4-3 overall with the win. No statistics were reported for this game.

“This was not our best game to be honest but to win 3 games in a row on the road is great, I am glad we got the win” Sweeney said.

The Wolverines travel to Rochester, Michigan to take on Rochester College Wednesday at 7pm in a WHAC conference game.
