Paris hosted the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show last year, but this year the Angels took Shanghai by storm.

The event was filmed this past Monday, November 20 at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai, China. The brand is growing it’s Chinese markets with over 25 stores, making it the perfect destination for this year’s show.

Joining the beautiful models on stage as they strut their stuff are musical guests. This year Harry Styles, Miguel, Jane Zhang, Yundi Li and Leslie Odom Jr.

This year’s show will premiere tonight on CBS at 10 p.m. and will include pink carpet interviews, model profiles, behind-the-scenes look at the making of the show and the runway presentation of brand-new winged creations, lingerie and the collaboration with Balmain.

Victoria’s Secret teamed up with Balmain this year to create some one-off looks for the show, marking the first time that VS has collaborated with a high-fashion brand to produce pieces that will be available for retail.

In addition to some new models walking this year, Angels returning to the runway include Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Lily Aldridge, Elsa Hosk and more.

Candice Swanepoel returned to the runway this year and opened the show after being absent in Paris following the birth to her son.

The past two years, best friends, Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid hit the stage together, but this year neither of the two walked.

Jenner recently signed a deal to be an ambassador for Italian lingerie brand La Perla and it is assumed that she didn’t want there to be a conflict of interest.

Her pal Gigi Hadid took to Twitter to announce to fans that she would not be walking in the show.

It is rumored that Visa problems are the reason for Hadid not attending the show this year.

Angel Behati Prinsloo will also not be walking this year because she is pregnant with her second child with Adam Levine.

The show will be split into six categories of lingerie including sportswear and nightwear, however, the overall theme of the show is a “glossy girl gang” showing off the results of their two-a-day work out regimes in fun outfits.

The “Punk Angel” group kicked off the show this year featuring looks by Balmain followed by “Goddess” themed looks that included gold wreaths and wings. Next came the VS Pink section of the show with the theme of “Millennial Nation.” “Winter’s Tale” followed up with some colorful pieces. The “Porcelain Angel” collection consisted of blues and whites mimicking the Ming dynasty vases. The show ended on a diverse note with the multicultural “Nomadic Angels” section.

Tune in tonight on CBS at 10 p.m. to see the Angels, artists and over the top looks for a glittery, glamorous night.
