The Michigan Football team had a very uninspiring year in 2017.
The Wolverines faced many challenges, on offense especially, but they still achieved an 8-4 record overall and 5-4 in the Big Ten.
Despite their record the Wolverines were not without stars on the field by their play.
Second Team all-Big Ten:
Offensive Guard Ben Bredeson, Offensive Tackle Mason Cole
Third Team all-Big Ten:
Running Back Karan Higdon
Tight End Sean McKeon, Tight End Zach Gentry, Running Back Chris Evans, Offensive Line Patrick Kugler
First Team All-Big Ten:
Defensive End Rashan Gary, Defensive Tackle Maurice Hurst, linebacker Devin Bush
Second Team All-Big Ten:
Defensive End Chase Winovich, Defensive Back Lavert Hill
Third Team All-Big Team:
Linebacker Khaleke Hudson
Linebacker Mike McCray, Defensive Back David long, Defensive Back Tyree Kinnel, Defensive Back Josh Metellus
Brad Robbins (Punter), Donovan Peoples-Jones (Return Specialist), Quinn Nordin (Place Kicker)
Big Ten Sportsmanship Award Honoree:
Fullback Henry Poggi
Mike McCray, and Maurice Hurst have accepted invites for the Senior Bowl on January 27, 2018 at 2:30 pm.
Lowest passer rating when targeted, Big Ten Cornerbacks: David Long 19.4, Lavert Hill 32.5
