Our favorite bad and boujee trio is back with a follow-up to their crazy successful sophomore album.

Flashback to a year ago, Migos dropped their sophomore album “Culture’”that set the tone for their 2017. It’s hard to top the year they had, but it’s said that “Culture II” is dropping later this week.

Last Monday for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Quavo posted to Twitter a video montage of King and tweeted:

“CULTURE NATIONAL ANTHEM #CULTUREII”

The video played to the voices of Quavo, Offset and Takeoff and sounded like what could potentially be the intro to the new project.

The Atlanta trio has released three singles from the album, “Motorsport,” “Stir Fry” and “Supastars.” “Motorsport” features both Cardi B and Nicki Minaj and dropped back in October. If the features of this track are any indication of how the rest of the project will be, I don’t think we’re ready.

The more recent singles, “Stir Fry” and “Superstars” contain no features, but both are still solid songs for sure that edges on the anticipation for the rest of the album.

Migos also just released a promotional video for the track “Stir Fry” for the NBA-All Star Game. According to Complex, Pharrell produced the track and sped up the pace of the song so Migos could channel the “athletic adrenaline” associated when playing basketball.

From recent projects, like “HUNCHO JACK, Jack Huncho” and “Quality Control: Control the Streets Vol. 1’’ I’m hoping to see more collabs with Travis Scott and Lil Yachty.

Complex is playing detective with Instagram posts (clues) as to who might make an appearance. Talks of Childish Gambino is one of them. That would be a feature I think we all need.

Migos isn’t stopping with the music. They are also adding “Culture II” merch to the anticipation for their album. A little over a week ago, the merch was released at select Bloomingdale locations.

The anticipation is high for this project. It is said that it will be dropping Jan. 26. Migos gives us no reason to doubt that seeing as “Culture” dropped just a day later last year. Come Friday we will hopefully have some new anthems for 2018.
