As excitement builds for the upcoming slate of Marvel films being released in 2018, the marketing machine at the Marvel Cinematic Universe has partnered with automakers to bring a pair of custom superhero cars to the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

A Black Panther-themed Lexus was on display complete with claws on the rear view mirrors and some tanks in the rear window. The highly anticipated movie set a new record for pre-orders on Fandango and will hit theaters in the US on Feb. 16.

Two months after Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters, the sequel to the 2015 film Ant-Man, Ant-Man and the Wasp, will premiere.

A flame-sporting Hyundai Veloster was included in the film as part of a placement deal, although it is unclear how the vehicle will fit into the film.

As someone who has spent a lot of time around tires, I do have to point out that the team that put these cars together literally glued Goodyear emblems onto BF Goodrich tires.

Disney apparently couldn’t find a car big enough to fit all the Avengers to customize, but while these cars may appear slightly cheesy, just remember that Tom Holland arrived at the Spider-Man: Homecoming premiere on the hood of a web-covered Audi.
