The NFL is littered with talent from all across the country.
Every season brings new and fresh talent from the college ranks that really make people stand up and take notice.
How many former players are from your team?
There are many former Michigan Wolverines on NFL team rosters that are doing special things. One of those players is
Taylor Lewan, who was the number 11 pick in 2014 to the Tennessee Titans. He started six games in 2014 and 15 games in 2015. Lewan started all 16 games in 2016 and 2017. He also made the Pro Bowl in 2016 and 2017. Lewan also blocked for the third ranked rushing attack in 2016.
Chad Henne is in his 10th season in the NFL. He has played for the Miami Dolphins and now plays for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Henne has been the backup for the Jaguars in recent years, but was also a starter for the Jaguars and the Dolphins in his career. He has thrown for 12,931 yards on 1,159 completions. Henne also has 58 total touchdowns and 63 interceptions. He has been sacked 149 times, but has run the ball for 355 yards and three touchdowns.
Jabrill Peppers played his first season for the Cleveland Browns, and started 13 games in 2017. He recorded 57 total tackles, including 44 solo tackles. Peppers also had three passes defended, a fumble recovery, and his first career interception.
Ben Gedeon has played in all 16 games this season–including post season games. Gedeon started nine games for the Minnesota Vikings. He recorded 37 total tackles with 23 solo tackles. This was Gedeon’s first season in the NFL.
Jourdan Lewis played in 15 games for the Dallas Cowboys in his rookie season. He started seven games and racked up 54 total tackles with 48 solo tackles. He also had 10 passes defended and his first career interception.
Brandon Graham is in his eighth season in the NFL–all with the Philadelphia Eagles. He has 315 total tackles with 228 of them being solo tackles. Graham has 38.5 sacks and 130 quarterback hurries. He also has 15 forced fumbles and recovered three of them. Graham is not done for the 2017 season, as his team played in Super Bowl 52.
Alan Branch is in his eleventh season in the NFL. He has played for the Arizona Cardinals and the New England Patriots. He has 279 career tackles with 180 being solo tackles. Branch also has 10.5 sacks, 15 passes defended, five forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery. Branch also played in Super Bowl 52 with the Patriots.
Tom Brady is in his eighteenth season with the New England Patriots. Brady is the poster boy for the NFL, and a future first ballot Hall of Famer. He has 66,159 career yards on 5,629 completions. Brady also has 488 touchdowns and 160 interceptions, and 968 rushing yards with 17 rushing touchdowns. Brady has been in seven Super Bowls with five wins. Brady lead his team into Super Bowl 52.
