Double Major: Computer Science and English

What made you decide to apply for graduation speaker?

It seemed like a cool opportunity to speak to some of the people that changed my life completely from who I was when I started college.

What student organizations have you been involved in?

Delta Phi Epsilon, Amnesty International, Upsilon Pi Epsilon, Society of Women Engineers, Lyceum, and then I was in the honors college and on the women’s varsity soccer team as well.

What is one piece of advice you wish you had known as a freshman?

Get involved. A commuter campus feels isolating if you are just going to class and going home. Talk to your classmates, join intramural sports and clubs and the way campus feels will change completely.

What is your favorite campus memory?

Preparing for events at 8 a.m. the day of in the University Center before most students got there. Loved that.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Happy and hopefully still doing some form of human rights work!
