Dr. Forman discusses race, society at UM-Dearborn

On February 7, the University of Michigan-Dearborn welcomed professor and the Vice Provost for Diversity and Senior Adviser to the Chancellor at the University of Illinois-Chicago, Dr. Tyrone Forman, to speak on the social issue of prejudice in a series of lectures called “The Conversation on Race.”

Calling for a good cause

On January 31, the University of Michigan-Dearborn’s Student Government Organization hosted a phone bank in the Student Organization office to reach out to several representatives and Senators to endorse the Senate Bill No. 408, which will provide a 50 percent tax credit for repayment of loans.
