UM-Dearborn’s hidden gem

In the northwest region of our campus, on the corner of Fairlane Drive and Monteith Boulevard, sits the well-known-to-science-majors Environment Interpretive Center. The Interpretive Center is home to the longest-running, full-time, urban bird research station in North America, and is a great place for school programs, camps, and visitors of any age to spend the day learning about the environment and native species to the southeastern Michigan area.

Remembering lost UM-Dearborn student

On May 13 of this year, 27 year old University of Michigan-Dearborn student Xianru Du went missing after being last seen in the Rouge River near Fair Lane Drive and Evergreen Roads.
