On a Wednesday afternoon at 12:00, the University Center stage was enchanted with a flash mob dance performed by the American Association for University Women (AAUW). It was not a typical flash mob routine however, they set out to make students aware of the importance of pay equity and not just entertain.

UM-Dearborn students get to work during Alternative Spring Break

While you huddled under your blankets and binge-watched the new season of House of Cards on Netflix over spring break, there were about 50 University of Michigan–Dearborn students that participated in this year’s Alternative Spring Break, the largest turnout yet, according to co-coordinator of the event Kelli Dowd.

The Office for Student Engagement movie screening: “Saving Face”

Students and faculty on University of Michigan-Dearborn’s campus will gather together for a Leadership Lens film series next week, on February 12 and 13 in Kochoff Hall B and House of Maize and Blue in the Union at Dearborn. The series will expose controversial issues throughout the world and after the screening students and staff will be able to share their thoughts and ideas about the film.
